My First FireWorks Piece
I've made a couple of really simple backgrounds before, so let me know what you think of this one.
It's the first one I've made with Fireworks and I've only been on it for about 3 hours (that's the first time I've even touched it).
Is this any good? Do I need to get rid of something or add in more stuff.
P.S. I'm not sure how you make all of those massive pieces of art that have tons of stuff in them. Could someone point me to a good tutorial site?
Thanks

30 views and not a single comment. Is it that bad?!

Not really. Sometimes threads go 100 views before getting a reply. Huhu...
About the making massive art, it just takes time, patience, and allow yourself to grow your own style.

you made it in fireworks? It's been a long time since I used fireworks, but isn't that basically just for gif-images and other animations like rollover images etc.

No - fireworks is for vectors mainly. It can do jpeg, gifs, pngs - everything! It can do animations and that aswell. Check out www.ultraweaver.com - it's got some great examples and the tutorials helped me learn.
