cant run regedit

i went to run>typed it "regedit" and the window comes up for about 5 seconds and automatically closes....i need it to check the cd key for cs

Off the top of my head i would say a virus/spyware problem.. DO a full system virus scan, and run adaware/seek & destroy

try getting tweakUI and going to repair ~> regedit

i did wat Eu4ria and raven both said, but it still doesnt work

are you not logged in as the administrator? not sure - but a possibility
