Reflection in 3dsm6
Can u give me any tips how i have to make the reflection work correctly, the skin should be shining like a mirror.

Here are a few tutorials on how to make and apply materials, cause i can't work with 3dsm very well. http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorials/3DS-MAX/Materials/1 http://tiemdesign.com/howto/3d.htm otherwise Google ___________________ "Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment." Open up the Material Editor > Select a random material > Click the button "Standard", a menu will open Click Raytrace > Faff about with the Colours/ Specular levels, and click where it says "Reflect".. it's not a tick box or anything, but if you click in the area it changes modes and turns reflection on. To have armour like effects, just increase the specular levels. You may also want to adjust the transparency a tiddle... only a tiddle mind. Job Done. ___________________ www.eryc.co.uk |
