The background is an ugly filter that tires my eyes and obstructs me from reading the content. The content font is too small and serif, and that tires my eyes as well. The black rectangle you slapped on the left side is useless and makes me wonder why is my life so unfair? The whole site looks like a splash page, not like a web site. Sorry. You know, not *everybody* can make simplicity work to their advantage. You still have to put a great deal of effort into a design to make it look kickass, let it be simple or more complex. And now let's be fair, who doesn't like a more graphical site instead of a site with a black font and a filtered bg image and that's it. Seriously, you guys need to put more work hours in your designs.

Haha dude, that background is not a filtered image. It's a photo of my full arm sleeve tattoo....with some airbrush. No filters at all im afraid. sorry to dissapoint you. So in future, dont try and act like you know it all.

personally, I think 'simplicity' works best with moderate to a lot of contents - like journals/blogs or something. I believe in 'what you lack in contents, you make up in striking visuals'

Not my cup of tea, sorry. There's a difference between simplicity and being out right plain. This just seems plain to me.

It reminds me of when I went to the Museum of Modern Art in Queens and there were a few paintings on display that were painted just plain solid white or slightly off white and somehow that was supposed to be art. If people think painting a canvas a solid color is art, then someone leaving skid marks in their underwear should be considered a masterpiece...Lol.

i dont like it, the layout is rather confusing and not straight foward at all. needs to be re worked.
