Moving objects equally...
Hey, Im curious if there is any way either in photoshop 7 or cs to move two layers at the same time, evenly. Like dragging the two layers at the same time and having them both keep the same distance between the two, with out merging the images. I realize i could just do shift+directional arrow, but that takes alot of time to move each layer seperately, plus i have to remember how many times i moved it and such. Any help would be appreciated =)

Link the two layers together........
You should then see a chain "linking" the layers. If either of them layers are selected and you move the content of the layer the linked layer will move with it. Is this what you mean?

I think Dorza provided the answer for you correctly.
Among other methods of doing it and as further encouragement for people to use ImageReady more often (and since you mentioned CS), ImageReady CS now allows for multiple Layer Selections both in the Preview Window and the Layers Palette (unlike Photoshop) and to add to the distribution/spacing feature your looking for, when there are two or more layers selected ImageReady CS has a new Options Bar feature 'Space between distributed objects' on the far right.
hope this adds to your options
