does anyone know where I can find a domain service provider that will provide a domain name payable in cheque or money order fromat, basically non-credit card.

Yeah U.S. Domain Registars let you pay with cheque, don't know about money orders but probably they let you do that too.

i use www.00host.com for my host and domain name, my mom pays for it with credit card, but check and that is acceptable too

I think www.godaddy.com may offer that option. I payed credit card though.

that would be http://www.icann.org/ which takes care of all those things.. (domain registration)...

if any UK based people are after domain names, i would recommend www.123-reg.co.uk and www.34sp.com

this isnt totally related to the question but would be useful if searched on by fellow britons.

Heh, I would accept checks and money orders, but I don't have domain registering setup yet =/

Oh well, I do offer hosting that can be paid by check or money order though =)
