Any Book Recommendations?
I'm looking inot purchasing a book so I can add PHP and mySQL to my abilites; currently, I know only little PHP and even less mySQL, as wella s how to utilize them effecienctly. I have a strong grasp of the basic web design langauges (XHTML, CSS) but am looking to enter the Server Side world. Anyone recommend a good PHP/mySQL book aimed at the beginner yet able to help advance to a good understanding of PHP/mySQL?

In the future, you should look into O'Reilly books first. They are excellent books!

Thanks, guys. I was looking at "PHP Anthology", Phil, but it seems liek its aimed at the intermediate user, and I am a total novice to anything PHP. Also, I stumbled across a cornucopia of raves and reviews saying that "PHP Essentials" ( http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/193184134 ... v=glance&s=books ) is the best book for beginning PHP, and that it also teaches the foundation of mySQL. Any comments

I'm thinking about buyign this book. Any comments? It's a quite new version, updated last month. Also, it ways it provides a introduction to PHP and mySQL, while still containing strong examples. Any other recommendations?
