program for keeping track of your hours

what is a good free program for keeping track of my hours so i can "clock on" and "clock off" on this program and it will tell me how long i've worked in total?

does anyone know of a program like that?

i´ve never heard of it, but it does sound good, to keep track on time worked on a program...! sounds good, i´ll look around, if i see one i´ll notice you. please do thesame!
