It looks like a nice clean layout. It generated in 9.584 for me. On my first load it didn't show the scrollbar, not sure why?

Pros:
+ Nice, simple layout.
Cons:
- Took me three time to finally load the webpage.
- Your page generation time is way off, it told me it took 9.303 seconds to generate the page, but it only took 3 seconds to load the page. Hmm.

It said 9.179, that must be miliseconds cause I'm ridin high in the sadle on broadband and it was on my screen before I let up on the mouse button.

That's a common question around here, "what can I do for my site". Well it would help all parties trying to help you if we knew what you expected of your site. What do you want the site to accomplish? ie., target 95 year olds with failing health from eastern europe with an average income of 20 cents a week that wear clown suits to bed.

So my recommendations are:
Create a compelling logo.
Create a catchy phrase to go along with said logo.

Other concerns are Blog format and technical delivery:

Will you update blog manually
Will you have dynamically generated pages
Will you allow user submissions
How will user submissions be screened and pages generate.
What type of software and server solutions do you presently have
yada, yada, yada...
