MAYA Tutorials

Can we please get a thread started listing all MAYA tutorials.... I need some and i think other ppl would enjoy them.

I don't use Maya, so I don't know how helpful these will be. Theres a lot of them though...

I've never modeled, but I would think 3dsmax. That seems to be the most popular.

hehehe, 3ds max is far from the best, lightwave is the "biggest" by far as far as what you can do. Personally i like Maya, its in between Lightwave and 3ds Max

well, i ONCE heard Maya was free, but found out wrong, and I NEEEED a 3d app but can't find one good free one and i'mi getting 3dsmax trial

The Learning Edition of Maya is free, although you get a huge watermark over your works and it seems that you have a limit over the canvas size.

I would simply suggest trying all of the packages. Softimage, Maya, 3d Studio Max, Cinema 4d all seem to have trials/free versions.
