Maya Clouds

Well so far i have had no touble making a sky, its just a sphere with a sky color. And for a sun i use a point light with optic effects. But i am unsure of what to do to make some realistic looking clouds. What im trying to do is make an animation so i can have a sky, sun clouds, ground, and clouds that move and transform. I dont understand why there isnt any help or doctumentation out there explaining how to do this sort of thing.

i dont know maya but I would guess particle effects are what u need. That may point u in the right direction at least...
