The title of this topic is a bit misleading. Tables are perfectly standard, if used correctly, so wouldn't something along the lines of "How to code with webstandards" be a bit more appropriate?

1) Where in the title does it say that tables aren't standard?

2) Use of tables is not in violation of standards, this is true, but they are generally discouraged, to be used only when it really makes sense...
