How to add a grid?

Can anyone assist me in adding a grid to my picture?

I am making a piece of artwork that looks like graph paper and I need a grid.

There are a couple of easy ways that I can think of off the top of my head.

1. Use the grid tool. There is a tool on the toolbar for making differen't kinds of grids. Linear and radial.

2. Make lines, however many you want in the grid, place them wherever as long as you have one where you want the grid lines to start and one where you want them to end. Use the automatic distribute button in the align palette to distribute them even spaces apart.
