Okay this was done completely in Painter 6 - with the exception for the initial sketch in blue line which was done in Photoshop

This was done with no reference. I am starting to feel more comfortable in Painter, it certainly has some distinct advantages over PS and some definite disadvantages but all in all its getting fun to use. Smile

I hope you enjoy.

Painter is like photoshop but directed more toward digital painting than anything else. IMO the brushes are more powerful than photoshops when using a mouse. But sucks for anything else.

The painting is great. Nothing I can crit on, it's perfect. Did you use a mouse or tablet?

I normally do all my paints in PS with a Tablet. Smile I must admit though that Painter has my interests peaked...I had seen alot of frsutrations with it in the past, but since I figured out how to get the brushes to behave to what I want....its workable.

there are some lil details...
like fixing the arm....
there are other details, but those are cuz its a diferent kind of art.. i mean, u made a drawing however u want, cuz u have the right to do that, but u have to take care of proportions and stuff... anyways.. i would add some more feathers.. fix the foot, fix a bit the bird.. u know.. put more details in it.. Tongue other than that is really cool..
CHEERS DUDE Wink AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

-one more detail.. the hand... Grin its like too big and fat

This is really cool, its got a real stylistic feel to it, for some reason. I can't really think of any critique on this, to tell the truth.

Also, its nice to see you posting here more recently. I'va always admired your work and your site. Its nice to have people like you around.

Tekken: Yeah the right arm and the left hand...they kinda bother me and it has been pointed out before as well. I dont think I would want to add any more detail though.

Down: thanks Smile ...heheh, yeah I wish i could spend even more time around the forums....
