blending tutorails

this probably has been asked before, but here goes...

i'm looking for some real good blending tutorials, some thing to do with blending one object to another, mainly real life objects not specail effects blending....hope that made sense.
basic level, advanced level, doesn't matter, bring them on....

Have you experimented with layer masks? That's the usual way to blend things.

pick up a book called "the photoshopCS book for digital photographers" by Scott Kelby

its a pretty decent book and has alot of tutorials on real life stuff that photographers and designers alike would use.
