Installing Apache, PHP, and MySQL in localhost

I've finished installing Apache on my computer and am now onto PHP and MySQL.. I'm just wondering whether I need to be online to use these programs?

Not sure... but is there 'help document' about how do you install and open the programs?

I went to http://localhost/admin like you said but there's nothing there..:confused:
I can now see some PHP pages offline but when the image in that page is in another directory like /images, it doesn't show..is that normal?
