dabatross -- i like the skyline in the background. looking for something with no special effects like embossing or anything. and also with little to no gradients. the logo will be on vehicles so i need something that we could do that with.
i like the idea and the layout though.

My first try...
The Adobe Illustrator file is 200% bigger than this image and is in CMYK colour...

Here are a couple of idea's. Both are made in Adobe Illustrator so you can change the size without losing any quality.
Logo #1
Logo #2
I can add more colors if you'd like, I was just trying to keep it as simple as possible (Maybe add colors to the paper?). Let me know what you think.

overall, great entries. i think there is a font recommendation for submissions. maybe a more solidified and sturdy font like arial black or universal black. also, the phrase "four-color process" is not needed. the logo should imply that.
ok, here goes:
scryypy - i like the design, different font maybe
david stokes - i'd stay away from the 'rainbow' gradient (negative association)
klas koopman - i like the idea of implementing the 'skyscraper' feel into the text, maybe a different font and cool color scheme
solecist - i like it, maybe try moving the text to the right of the sheets and different font
motozack - maybe use icons of 'presses' instead of office equipment, currently, they depict a office environment as opposed to a commercial printing atmosphere
hw - a bit too simple and bland, needs more color and character
bwaddley - different font maybe
great ideas guys, keep them coming
