A goal in life

I realized a goal in my life tonight....

After I get my blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do, I want to travel the world for one year experiencing a bunch of different martial arts.

What's everyone elses goals?

why one year?

I set daily goals... lifetime goals are unrealistic

my daily goal for today? make it thru to tomorrow....

a realistic goal in life: to be the only person in my family that doesn't end up going to a community college, then make my living off designs and i want to make a shop that is like a cyber café with out the café part, and sell stuff there too- it'll be fun.

probably not going to happen: hijack a space ship from the invading aliens and then save the white house from these space monsters... too bad will smith already beat me to the punch. ::

Why not one year? I can't spend my entire life out there, I'd like to settle down with a wife and have a kid. So you say lifetime goals are "unrealistic"? That's your opinion. To travel the world experiencing martial arts would not only be a great honor, but a great experience. How many people do you know have got up and left, went around the world experiencing martial arts like that? It would be a superb chance to open my mind and prove that there's more than one way to doing something.

I'm attending a major university through my community college, the classes I'm taking are just as hard, if not harder than the ones taught there. I'm also doing double duty by getting my bachelors and associates degree (one from each college).

My goal for life really is to discover myself... I want to have a good job, with a loving family, and friends all around me... thats what I want out of life....

Also, I wouldnt mind visiting places around the world, like Japan, maybe Egypt etc...

I hope to be able to have a large and successful lan party (short term goal) and be able to be really rich. In my house I also want to have a room with old guns - M1s, revolvers, etc
