My 3rd entry. (by the way, if the quality of these images that I post have jagged edges or anything... it's because I had to reduce the quality when I converted it to JPEG for loading times. The original image is flawless.)

Meaty your 2nd attempt is v. cool, I love the 3dness. Maybe if the icons were more colourful or the globe was intergrated with the text that would be cool.

Dabatross, I really do love your 3rd attempt, its a style I like (text) and stands out. I have a couple of more ideas: the ring shape thing, maybe add that fully around the globe? And the globe, I still don't like it, if you could do one which is more glossy, 3d and kinda funky I'm sure it would be 10x better.

Justbr0dy, excellent I like most of your logo's. I like the 2-2 and 2-3 logo's the best on your most recent work. Maybe on the 2-3 one, where it turns to bold on the word planet (how about changing it to the dark purple/blue-ish colour? or have you tried?). One last thing, i'm liking the idea of soft bevels now, like dabatross's latest peice. Maybe adding some nice smooth and soft bevels to the text etc?

BWBraddly, I like the 3d-ness of the rings but not sure on the globes? Maybe some more bold and cheerful colours and glossy textures/shiney would be good.

HW, I like the globe but not the text.. it looks like its twisted to much towards the right end. Try out some other text effects, apart from that its cool.

Trash, I like the shiney effect of the globe, but not sure about the text.

Chacka42, wow, I like your complex but simple work. I can't really think of much to say but make future globes like 3dish (suggestion) but i'm not sure how it

Here is an updated version. I made the globe glossy as well as putting the wrap around effect on the ribbon going around the globe.
