Flash Images imported into DW
Am building some disjointed rollovers in dreamweaver using images created in Flash to be used as the buttons (nothing complicated just text for the button, plain white BG and a rectangle). The buttons are going into layers in DW and imported as background gifs.
Two problems:
Firstly, am getting very fuzzy text...Not nice!
Secondly. am getting image flicker on the rollover - sometimes the target image isnt appearing, sometimes it flashes on then disappears until you move one pixel to the left and then its back!- this could be the computer i'm using: have been having some probs with it showing images (don't know why)
Anyway can anybody help with the 2 problems: fuzziness and flashing.
Cheers
Mic

well first off, why in the hell are you making images in flash? that makes no sense to me at all, that would be part of your fuziness, im guessing, flash wasnt ever designed to export images at great quality. but secondly, are you on a online server (internet) or intranet (using your computer as the server) ?? that could possibly make a difference, though im not totally clear on what your saying either, examples and clearer english sentences, would help!

open minded, cool young designer

it is better to do the rollover in imageready itself as gif.

Thanks for your reply Lazr - was beginning to think thread was going to be left unanswered
1. Images were made in Flash - simply because of my familiarity with the package and because of the "simplicity" of the trigger buttons and target images I wanted (text in both cases).
2. When these images were placed in an html document to be used as rollovers, they came out fuzzy and I was also getting image flicker
3. Figured this could be Flash (and that maybe another package would be better able to handle text) or my PC or something else entirely. With this in mind I posted my message to look for suggestions as to how to overcome fuzziness and flicker with text based images.
4. Am using internet. These images have not been uploaded yet. Fuzziness and flicker both occur on seeing images in browser locally.
So you're suggesting some other package other than Flash to solve fuzziness and flicker problem, and you also think there could be a hardware problem???

p.s. Thanks for putting me onto imageready Anees

yes, i would def. suggest using a different 'package' as you say, i would call it a program, for images. such as psp (Paint Shop Pro) or Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop Trial
Jasc Paint Shop Pro Trial
you can download the trials and then go from there?
