Start of a Vector baby.

The original photo of this is really funny.

The mouth looks a bit funny but still working on it. I've mostly been working on the eyes.

any thoughts?!

jeez it looks like its tough to make a vector image. Yours looks good I dont know too much about those images.

Hardest part is getting use to using the pen tool.

Im doing this in PhotoShop CS but I know a lot of people say Illustrator is better for vector. But I find it much easier to use the pen tool in PS. cant seem to get the pen tool to move the same in Illustrator. Im a correct in assuming that the pen tool in Photoshop works exactly the same as the pen tool in Illustrator?

way off, vector is not done in photoshop. dont use photoshop just bc its easier. just start working with illustrator, and it will eventually become natural

yes and no, in my opinon, no bc your still in a pixel program. you know what i mean. yea in a way its vector, but its still not true vector in my two cents

I believe it's still a vector until you rasterize the layer...so yes it is a vector. Photoshop is not a "pixel program" because it does have vector support, just not nearly as much as Illustrator.

You guys are really getting knitpicky here with this is vector and this is not. If he doesn't have Illustrator fine, but he can still create vector looking graphics in Photoshop.

If he didn't tell you, would you know? Thats all I have to say about that.

It looks good, but the baby doesn't look cute like babies should.
