WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
Status: Offline!
I have old stuff.
Pandora:
400mhz Pentium II
100mhz FSB
384mb of PC100 DIMMs (3x128)
geForce FX 5200 128mb
16x DVD-ROM
16x8x48x CD-RW
40gb 7200rpm hdd (c:\,c:\apps)
40gb 7200rpm hdd (c:\home)
340 watt PSU
SB Live! Value
Integrated Yamaha DS-XG
Intel SE440BX (-2, I'm not sure) chipset
17" primary CRT running at 1280x1024x32bpp @ 60hz
15" secondary CRT running at 1024x768x32bpp @ 60hz
Attached to some crappy AIWA mini amp/reciever with the crappy stock speakers and a 12" subwoofer
Running Windows XP Pro (and Debian, eventually, once I get off my lazy ***)
It's a heavily (I think) modified Packard Bell 7800 PLT.

66mhz FSB
128mb of SIMMs
1gb (OLD) hdd (c:\)
20gb hdd (d:\)
S3 Trio 64v+ 1mb
15" CRT running at 800x600x16bpp @ 60hz
Running Windows XP Pro
http://xaimus.tadan.us/images/mystuff/pavita.jpg
The POS inkjet printer was recently replaced by a laser printer.
*****:
533mhz Celeron
133mhz FSB
96mb PC133 DIMMs
Some ****ty integrated graphics controller
Some ****ty integrated audio controller
20gb hdd (c:\)
No display (headless server)
Running Windows XP Pro
Blingbox:
166mhz Pentium non-MMX
16mb SIMMs
Some Cirrus Logic integrated graphics controller with 1mb VRAM
2gb hdd (/)
No display (headless server)
Running Mandrake
This is another heavily modified Packard Bell.
And, for the hell of it, here's the chair where I spend much of my time: http://xaimus.tadan.us/images/mystuff/chair.jpg
I can't afford anything really nice. :(
The next computer that I build will use what I think is the best hardware available, so I'll probably be waiting quite a long time before I use something faster.
