P2 -> Athlon XP 2500

I have a P2, but since it is rather slow, I want to upgrade to a Athlon XP 2500, but was wondering if I would need to get a new motherboard and tower.

Thanks Wink

Yep. New motherboard and new memory (im assuming the motherboard is as old and outdated as the P2)
