Problem with photoshop
Out of nowhere i started to run into this problem:
I'll make something and it looks good in photoshop, but when i save it and view it in something else it is a lot darker then what it is in photoshop. It never used to do this before.
Thx Camaro

Try resetting your [color] preferences by hold ctrl + alt + shift while photoshop loads -> when it asks if you want to reset them hit yes.
There's been many issues like this answered in the stickies/FAQ, I believe.

You need to do it before photoshop loads. But it seems you've uninstalled so it should still work. Anyway, you might want to check out the Adobe Gamma loader and calibrate it.

I wish i could just make everything lighter but u don't know how light to make it. So that won't work. I looked through the FAQ and tryed the gamma loader, all it did was callebrate my moniter. I'll try and take a screen shot so u can see the difference. I hold the alt+shift+ctrl and nothing pops up.
it seems like the brightness/contrast gets screwed up somehow

u can sorta see the difference in that shot, but when they are full size its a huge difference, the one on the left is the photoshop, the right is windows viewer.
thx, Camaro

Same goes for me. In PS all looks good and then when you use like acdsee or any other program to view pic are darker. I don't know what is the catch.

If you use embedded colour profiles in your PS images, there may be some discrepancies. Also, it could be the fact that the other programs have a different colour setting.
