I know I'm opening myself up to a series of slams, but figured it would be interesting to see what people say.

I recently did a lot of work on my site:

well its a sturdy frame work , your text colors are kinda of out of place , try using a yellow or a muted grey www.colorwhore.com has a great selection of color combos in every shade. And try using maybe veranda size 10 ? on the titles and make it bold , it will bring out alot of uniformity

Well, you have a lot of content on there and it's organized well (which is the reason people visit sites), but you just need to pick a theme cause the top banner has a yellow border, the menu is all white and then there's that grey news box on the left. you just need to make the site more uniform. And definitely make the top menu stand out a little more. I didn't even see it at first. And you don't need to make it some kind of graphical masterpiece, just keep it simple. Hey cheif, can I hold my gun sideways? It looks so cool.

well to me it looks like a single large advertisement for some kind of miracle drug pill. or some kind of resource site for lagal proffessionals. there is noting interesting that captures my attention. the news text is horribly large and colorful. the header logo looks okay, kind of old school looking though but i guess star wars is old too.

Thanks everyone - well, almost everone - for the comments. I checked out that DaFONT site, and it's terrific. Has a really large and cool collection of fonts. And the Star Wars ones were actually good - others I've seen have been pretty crappy.
