Stop the pop. It has aggressive mode which means nothing can open at all without your specific permission for a few seconds by holding control. That's my kind of filter.

The Google Toolbar is very effective, I use this on my PC.

That's incorrect, running Mozilla wont stop you getting spyware. Spyware can easily find it's way in via program installers and whatnot, as well as through cookies, active x control and the like.

It's essential that you run Spybot & Adaware at the very minimum, combined with Mozilla or Opera.

As for the people saying Kazaa is impossible to find, it isn't. There are still lots of mirrors around, and the development is continuing under the name of 'Kazaa Lite Ressurection'. Aside from the regular Kazaa Lite, K++ & Diet Kazaa are still around, so it isn't exactly hard to get a non spyware/ad infested version.

Google popup blocker 519 blocked since Dec 14th

As well as being great at blocking popups, it gives immediate search options, blogger access and I have the folding project enabled so I can contribute to medical research when I fall asleep on my kb

Is for sure a great popup killer and the best part about it is, it opens pop ups that you click on yourself and keeps the junk ones closed. Smart program if you ask me.
