Stylus brush size

Using Photoshop 7, Wacom Graphire3 4x5

This is kinda hard to explain...

Is it possible to change the brush size so when you put a little pressure on the tablet it comes out light but still having full brush size? (Defaulted: pressing down lighting makes a light thin stroke)

If you don't understand that, here's another explaination:
can you use a stylus so when you press down lightly it provides a full sized line. Example: Brush diameter is 50, pressing down lightly will make a light 50 diameter line.

Thanks for help

I do not think that is possible, the whole idea of a pen and tablet is to mimick a real pen or pencil or brush... usually, the harder you press, the thicker the line made....

you could of course adjust the briush pressure in the brush option bar..... that should fix it....

not possible? I meant that I want the pressure function on the Stylus, but I want the thickness to be uniform.

but the whole point of a graphic pen is that if you push harder the line gets thicker? just like a real pen or pencil?

thats what I thought? my wacom works that way, the ahrder I push, the thicker the line.....

maybe I am not understanding what you want...

i know, I want to see if I can use it another way. I want to see if I can use it with the brush size always the same, and the pressure changes based on how hard it's pressed down, kinda like a marker. (always the same size line, darker <-> lighter)

the only thing I can suggest is what I suggested in my second post, adjust the pressure/opacity in PS itself in the brushes option bar....

I'm not sure if I fully understand you. I have the same tablet as you, that small thing...

Yeah, well I was looking at the brushes. And I saw a brush, in the example thing it was all the same size, and went from light then to dark and then to light. I tried it out just then. It stays the same size, diameter(whatever), but when you push lighter it becomes lighter. And when you push hard it becomes darker. I think that's what you want.... Just go to the brush size thing and scroll down until you see a line that isn't so wavy like the first ones... and it goes from light to dark to light...

Sure you can have the brus size vary with pen pressure.... just go to BrushDynamics and select "pen pressure" for the size jitter and set the minimum size all the way down to 1px.
