hmm. that link works for me.

alot of the tutorials are submitted by users and we have permission on every tutorial in our database not submitted by someone .

this is just a 'thumbs' site in the respect that it just links to offsite chit so i don't think anyone in his database would complain if they got there by someone else submitting their tutz0r. the site itself looks nice and i really like a few of those tutorials. Smile

I don't see why you embed all of the CSS on the page. Not to mention you have two <head> tags on every page which doesn't make sense and isn't considered valid. I'd also like to note that tables for layout is stupid. I also don't see why you're using the deprecated <font> element when you have CSS available.

I am the coder. I thank you for your input, but that is why I have been telling everyone that asks that a new version will be out soon. I know the the code is not clean, and I have even told 2 potential buyers of the site no because of it. I started the code not knowing how it would turn out. I am a beginner myself, so I have poor foresight on the final product, I know this. This was my first true website, and frankly I am proud of it. I knew nothing of CSS until about 25% the way through the coding of this site, hence the bad usage.

Currently I am working on a new site that will hopefully prove to be much better and cleaner code, which will be used for the second version of tutorialman.com as well. The site should be up sometime in January, ScriptingMan.com

Once again, thanks for your input, but do NOT give me a link to someone's opinion on how stupid table usage is in sites. I think table usage can produce a quite effective look to a site, very nice and orderly.

Sorry if you found anything I said offensive, I'm merely trying to provide some pointers to you so you can make the site better. I didn't realize you were a beginner, so I'm sorry if my reply seemed a little harsh but I'm just telling you the truth. As for using tables for layout, the site I linked to is completely correct when it comes to it. It may seem "nice and orderly" but in reality, it's very bad to use. Learn CSS and create a CSS-based layout. You'll have much more control over how your layout looks while still providing excellent accessibility.
