Pixel Art

Does anyone have any tutorials or tips on this fine art?

Welcome to TF, a couple of things you can do, we have a search button here at TF, you can check that for older threads about pixel art, there should be a few, also there is a sticky at the top of this forum called 'exellent tuts', might be some links there too..

I think in general, pixel artists do there work pixel by pixel, in other words, they grab a 1 pixel pencil tool and carefully create their work pixel by pixel in a zoom mode.... I personally am impressed by that sort of work, but have not got the patience to do it!

I was thinking more along the lines of this:

I doubt there are tutorials out there that teach anything exactly like that - it seems more like the person's style (the person who designed it). If you are new to pixel art, try the links I gave you. If you're not new, try searching around for tutorials on things like pixel people or pixel animals.

Its more or less the same thing. Just design it w/ 1px dots and then when you're done blow it up 400% w/ nearest neighbor and it'll look like that..
