Print Designer seeks "Web Guys" (or Girls!)
Okay, so here's the thing, I've been doing print work for years, but I've never managed to fully make the transition over to doing web design... Call it a deeply-repressed fear of anything resembling code; maybe all those letters and numbers just scare me. Whatever the reason is, I'm in dire need of some assistance! My roommate / best-friend and I are in the process of launching an online presence for unique and affordable high-end furniture and home decor. Between the two of us, we both have a good amount of business knowledge and experience, but as I already mentioned, almost no web design experience. I have a fairly good idea of what constitutes "good" web design, (as a lot of the same design principles are applicable in my field as well) and what I want this site to look like, but that doesn't get me any closer to making it happen. Basically, we've got everything but the website; including the merchant account, domain, etc. We're also in the process of raising extra capital at the moment, so unfortunately compensation is fairly limited. What I am proposing, is if you're interested and qualified (as well as somewhat professional in your demeanor), I would be more than happy to offer the individual(s) a fair percentage of future profits, until all due payment is covered.
