I hate Texas Hold Em'

Me, my bro, my mum and dad were playing cards last night and I played with some of the Xmas money, £40. So anyway things were going great at the start and I won like 8 hands in a row, and I was up £200, I wanted to leave then but I just remembered my dad saying that you can't leave just after the game has really started so I stayed in and was getting beat badly, but naturally I wanted to win money back, hands passed and I was on £20. I lossed 1 more hand and had like £1 left, so I dipped into my wallet and took out the remainder of the Xmas money I had left - £120 (was supposed to be for a new HD) but I played with it and I lossed it all, my dad was trynna outbid me so I had to fold on some hands. I had nothing left, after starting at 8:30pm and with a profit of £200 by 9:00pm and then at 3:20pm with nothing left. I am just so pissed, I have lost in cards too many times and I quit playing them, I just hope I can keep the promise to myself. Have any of you guys had bad cards experiences???

Maybe it's illegal for you, but once you hit 18 you can gamble anywhere in California. Only casinos allowed to operate in California are those runs by Indians, and they allow 18+ to gamble.
