Watermarking an image

How do I watermark an image so if I post it on my website no one can steal it?

just use the type tool and then type some copyright stuff or whatever then lower opacity

it's gotta be it's own layer too so make sure u dont merge layers or anything. that way your image is just fine and to remove the water mark, u just hide/delete that one layer. otherwise u get screwed. simple.
