hm... I disagree.
First off, I don't like the layout. Why does that content take up half, while the girl (even though she is nice to look at) takes up the rest of the page?
And the lightning/light swirls come off too "tutorial" to me; like you just copied off of someone.
So if it were me, I would change the light dealies, and figure out how to layout your site along with the girl next to it.

I don't like the orange flower - if you're going to use green, complement it with red, not orange.

The font in the title runs into the borders of the other white boxes.

What are the empty boxes going to have in them? The one on the far left looks too narrow to be really useful.

Is the main box going to be an iframe? If not, what will happen to the rest of the layout if it scrolls down?

Move the text for the links up a tiny, tiny smidge - the 'y' in 'Gallery' touches the line.

I don't like the way the outline at the top of the rose is so jaggered.

I remade the background of it. Now it doesnt look very tutorial. I made the content area a little bit bigger, havet had time to fix with the links but ill get around for that tomorrow.

take photo of some trees and turn color into pale green
take photo of girl and turn it down low opacity
take photo of... parrot? and turn it down low opacity
take photo of red flower and paste in corner
make a bunch of shapes and lower the opacity
text tool

WOW i made your site in a couple of minutes...

I think that the rose stands out a little too much. The navigation is okay..can't see any other flaws that matter.
