Fansite Layout

Okay, I ran out of ideas for this layout. So it's not that good. I'm using it for a fansite layout. Please leave ALL your comments.

Anything you think is right, or wrong, please tell me. Don't try to be kind.

Besides it being too dark, please leave comments on what I could change..etc.

Also, its not what you call 'professional', because I'm only 13.

why is everything hard grunge and theres a soft picture in the middle of the layout? try blending the pic in some more, it really clashes. as for the rest, its ok i guess... not the cleanest layout ive seen.

the checkboard in the upper left

don't like:
the fact the girl is in the foreground w/the focus point that is suppose to be on her - yet she is blurred to mars and back. You should make her crystal sharp and have the different areas behind her blur as it goes back (just a little)- then it'll create depth and really make it pop and look awesome; if you're not looking to add depth and you want to keep it a flat look then you should just get rid of any and all blurs all together.

* The paint drops behind content and announcements

Dislike[s] -

* the pink pencil tool drawn lines.. they just look a bit weird on black/white background :/
* the theme is a bit dark overall, but that's just me (I don't like dark >_<)
* the pink.. yeah..
* the girl in picture is a bit too blurry..

That's about it

it's pretty good, just needs a few improvements

well, you could use "don't like" instead of dislike, that's what I do when I'm tired
