Grunge X Effect

i see this effect used a lot in blends and grunge layouts.

[this is a tutorial for psp8, but if you are familuar with psp, then you could use the same thing for psp7 as well]

if you look at the attatched picture, you will notice the small x's that make the picture look little grunged out

1) open the image you want to use the effect on
2) next go to Image>Decrease Color Depth>2 Colors
select:
Grey values
Ordered differ
. Then click OK
3) Next go to Edit>Copy.
4) Then, press Ctrl and Z. This undoes the Decrease Color Depth.
5) Now, go to Edit>Paste>Past As New Layer
6) Go to the Layers. (If you do not see the layers box, go to View>Palettes>Layers) and right click where you see Raster 1 and then click Properties.
7) Set the Opacity level from 1-100. I used 30 for my outcome.
