Winamp5 Skin (WIP)

Started up on a new WA5 skin.. I've currently put the 2.x skin on hold...

I'm hoping I can get some of the guru's over at Winamps forums to help me code it... There an unintentional typo in the song title...

It's kinda neat. I think the gray interface part could look better, but the orb is nice.

I agree with the lightening up the gray part, but also (this is only a personal opinion) I for some reason don't like the orb, I mean it's very well done and everything, but I just think that it doesn't fit in to a winamp skin :/ Nothing wrong with it really, but it just looks kinda odd shaped and so forth, if you know what I mean... I mean that's very nice, just not my type.. :confused:

Anyway, keep up the great job

[edit] BTW, just wanted to say that I love your site, it's very well layed out and has some very useful tutorials (which I have found useful myself too), so keep up the good work with that too, cause I'm sure it's being appreciated (atleast I do appreciate it very much)

Also, I wanted to ask you something, which I know you probably get asked a lot but I'll ask it anyway.. What font did you use to type the SkinsnTemplates.com in your header, cause that font looks so neat (it's thin in width but still readable, and I don't know, just find it very attractive) but even though I've tried looking for it from everywhere, I can't find it I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me this

reminds me a bit of Invicta by razmansix and rpeterclark.

I only wonder what you're gonna use to fill the bottom of the orb. Invicta has some really cool graphics that beat to the rhythm of what you're playing. That would be cool to use in that section of yours. rpeterclark is the master coder over @winamp, so you might give him a try. I'll bet he's already involved in at least 3 projects though. You might have to get in line. LOL

Definitely dope, and I agree with the comments about the metallic parts...on the sides they're too dark.

The orb reminds me of a shield out of Halo or something you'd see on Stargate.

StriplingRz , I've only been over on the Winamp forums about 2 days and I've seen that rpeterclark is one of the greats over there. ... I'm still not sure if I want to metal in the bottom half of the sphere or leave it open for the dancing graphic stuff...
