Seinfeld, Third Rock from the sun, that 70's show, and the Simpsons.

Friends was interesting when they first started out - and like the last 6 years you either had to be a female, a fruity teen, or a gay kid to watch it haha.

Seinfeld, I use to hate the first few seasons, mainly because I didn't understand the humor and then when I matured, in that sense, I understood - it's writing is just amazing.

I kinda dropped off a few years off the Simpson because of moving around all the time but it has the most original stuff on every single episode..it's really astonishin actually.

Is mr bean even from the same time frame as the other shows? The Drew Carey show I like a lot now (as well as Whose line... that show makes me laugh every single time I watch it). Everybody loves raymond is cool, and I like it but I wouldn't put it in the best sitcom scenario. Frasier is actually funny if you sit down and plan on watching it or whatever, but I never tuned in each week to see it - it requires a more peculier taste.

I forgot Will & Grace...ohwell. Simpsons rocks but it isnt a sitcom...is it?! Black Books is great and so under-rated but Ill make a topic about that later...

Seinfeld is a good show, I watch it and it's kinda funny.

But, Seinfeld = Recess for adults.

Think about it, both Seinfeld and Recess make a big deal out of things in life that really don't matter. An entire Seinfeld episode can revolve around one small issue that most people wouldn't even care about, the same goes for the show Recess.

Shows can deal with such things as George quitting his job in a huff after he is demoted to using the regular bathroom. A perfect example of what I am saying...

Not that Seinfeld is a horrible show or anything, I just don't think that the show's writers are utter geniuses...

Well, I've never watched Recess - I don't really see your point though... the show is suppose to be about nothing - that's part of the reason it is so funny. I don't think Recess is pitched that way. Two big differences
