Yeah...it kills me when I type out a presentation all nice and the rest of my group thinks that ready made powerpoint templates look nice...especially a different one on each slide...

Sorry 'bout the side rant...but yeah, NASA using powerpoint...hmm who are they sending into space?

No powerpoint sucks there are way better programs out there.

I used that in a presentation to insert subliminal messages... It flashed "A+" really fast at the end. I think one person noticed...

In my opinion, Power Point is just a ****ty version of flash where you don't have to do any work to make it look ****ty. Hey - how abou this - if you're going to make somthing using multimedia, how about you learn to use a real program instead of once again letting coperate so-called "leader" Microsoft tell you that it's the easy way to get "professional results". Professional results my ***. Power Point presentations vs. Flash could be like comparing a 20 ounce steak with a piece of my crap.

Alex, the only problem is is that Flash has a sort of steep learning curve. Most people won't want to and/or have the time to learn it. PowerPoint is easier to work with and gets the job done, for them.

With that being said, I agree that PowerPoint sucks.
