Im sure I could get lot of interviews and make it as much instereresting as possible for the TC visitors and enjoy reading the interviews with great designers, programmers, etc. I like interviewing and reviewing anything and I've done this before. I would do my best to get the best interviews and I could spend more than 5 hours online everyday.

Status: Offline!

Name: Josh O'Harney
Age: 17
Available: 20+ Hours a week (Including Saturday and Sunday)
Resume: http://www.studio16.org/Resume/resume.html

Positions Desired(Qualified For):

eMarket:

    [*]Supervisor

I've had three semesters of classes devoted to Marketing. A basic marketing class my eleventh grade year, a class called "Marketing Media and Technology", which covers websites and different methods of distributing the word and goods and services such as Powerpoint, Brochures, etc etc. Also, I've had E-Commerce, which is much of what the Marketing and Marketing Media and Technology classes were, but simply furthered my knowledge of all areas. -- I am also a member of DECA, a marketing 'club' that competes at district, state, and national levels. I obtained proficiency at district and plan to go to State level in February. This is my second year in DECA, I made it to state level last year also, but we didn't get to go due to snow and ice.

I plan to go to college next year for a major in business(e-business), and I think this position on the forums would give me a better understanding of the market, as well as some good experience.

Articles, Reviews, Interviews

    [*]Editor [*]Writer [*]Reviewer [*]Interviewer

Editor:
Any of these positions I think would be great. But the Editor position I feel I am very qualified for, with the exception of recommendations by fellow forumers, and length of time being a member. As I've only been a member of these forums for a short while, but have been more than active within the community for a year and a half+.

I have great proofreading skills that I have developed from my last three years in highschool, after taking multiple honors courses in English and getting high marks in each. Next semester I am to enroll into English IV AP, which is the most advanced Honors class that my school offers. With GPA rating instead of a scale from 1-4, is 1-6. A $300 course which offers college credit if the final at the end of the semester is passed with a sufficient enough grade.

Anyways, I think that I'm fit to be a good leader; meeting deadlines and getting things done are two things that I find myself, at least, to be exceptionable at, and have to be for the level of classes in which I am enrolled.

I'm always online, from the time I get home from school until I go to bed normally, so around a good 7 hours a day.

Writer:
I think I have good English skills and a good comprehension of the english language , with good enough grammar to be a good writer.
I think this would be the field I would most excel at, as I live for writing about things that I love. And graphic art is my passion. I'm also always writing out rants and expressing my opinions on many different topics. -- Also, finding new material is a great thing; I do this now, even though not an established member of the forums, just so I can heighten my own intelligence and deadlines are never a problem, because I'm used to them.

Interviewer:
I love meeting new people, and talking with them. The area I think I would second most qualify in would have to be this one. I've already got tons of questions that I would ask nearly any of the website designers of the community, but never get a chance. Like roubouk, for instance, and the guys from Spoono. I look up to all the guys who run the websites around here.

One interview a month would be absolutely no problem. If anything, I think it would probably be too few! But I suppose that's always negotiable, and I'm sure the members wouldn't mind having more than one a month to read. =P I plan to offer interviews on my own website when it's released, and I think this position here would help out a lot.

----------------

All in all, I think those are the positions I would most qualify for. Unlike a lot of people who want to do this just because they think it's cool to be more of a headfigure in the community, I actually think I could make this place better as a community. Maybe it sounds a little wacko, or conceited, but it's true. It would better me as a person, and I think it would be a great opportunity that I wouldn't pass up if I was given the chance.

Thanks for reading all this Grin,

~ Josh

Phew, made it to the end of this thread!

Name: Nick Cochran
Age: 21
Available per Day: I have no life, so as many as needed at the moment.

Why I would be a good addition to staff?
I'm smart, funny, honest, and straight up (outta compton) to people - Basically, everything Down put, haha :P Seriously, for some reason I've become addicted to this forum, and I like to help out people with lesser knowledge than myself, whether it be simple answers, fixes, video tutorials etc.

Position: Forum Mentor
Area of Position: Photoshop.

Qualifications: I've been using photoshop for about 6-7 years, and there's not too many questions that I can't answer as far as the application goes. I've done other stuff such as: motion graphics, 3d animation, and application programming. I pretty much know a little about everything.
