inability to display .jpg

I have windows 98 with internet explorer... im not sure which version but most likley the latest one...
anyway, my internet explorer just stopped displaying .jpg's
anyone have any idea how to fix it...?

Are you blocking images? Do you mean that all jpegs are Xed? Is it only jpegs or all images?

Well what do these undisplayed .jpg's look like? Are they just a blank box with a red X?

you can try updating your ie to a newer version, or download patches. there's also a setting under advanced that may be disallowing viewing of images. make sure that's not blocked. aside from that do a virus scan.
