very nice design but.. i don't see how the spikes on the borders fit into a vintage skateboard site. maybe put in some pictures of boards or something else besides the spikes.
also not sure how i feel about that toy police car, but that's ok.

and.. mentioned before is the text, it's hard to read.

so all in all, it's a great layout ('cept the spikes)
but to me, the design doesn't go with skateboarding.

like hektik said, loose the spikes, they don't fit. and maybe use a more vintage or grunge navbar. Maybe make it a bit wider. The rest looks really sweet; keep working on it.

I like the look of it, but that background is the same one used in www.synthesis01.com so you might want to use something more original cause I noticed immediately.

Site is very odd... You have random, cluttered spikes sticking out of no where, you have a plastic car placed in the middle of your banner, etc. Take away those and add some other things and your site will have a whole new level of... professionalism.
