Please please help with all my problems

ok well I'm pretty new to psp-I have version 8.
I've spend weeks looking at absolutely hundreds of tutorials and so much stuff.
but I some stuff I cant seem to find out.
I've also searched for the stuff here too-but I cant find the specific stuff I need to find out.
so I have a few (stupid-I guess) questions

1) how do I get that nice lighting blurry effect as shown in the attachment example below?
the guy told me he did it in ps-which of course I dont have. but I see this effect alot so there has to be a way to do it in psp-like I've experimented with the lighting and blurring and all the effects for so long-and I cant get it right.

2) is there anywhere to download that sparkly brush for psp?-obviously its a ps brush-but thats useless to me-and I love it so much (the gold one)-or if not any way I can achieve a similar effect or download a similar brush? (see the attachment once again)

3)how do you achieve a sorta 'glitter' effect in psp-can you?-I cant find the relevant tutorial

4) when you add a image to a layer-different background and you dont want the background that the image has how do you get a clean line-like someone told me to firsly crop as much of the background as I can-then use the freehand tool and try to get rid of more-then zoom in and use the backround eraser to remove the rest. and lastly to get a clean edge to a image to select the image..
Select/ Modify/contract by 1 pixel......copy and paste as a new image

um although this helped and was better than my method-its very time consuming-which I dont mind-but often the image you want is complicated and it still looks 'wrong' and pretty unprofessional-um is there another way to do it in psp 8?

5)hmm this might sound stupid-but I cant work it out-how do you work on a certian part of the image-like add an effect but not apply to the face or the neck ect?-cause I cant find out.-oh that reminds me-also how to you fade one picture into the next and have the one in the foregound darker but gradually fading out into the one behind or near?

I don't know how to say it, but I guess you can't make it in PSP just because you see it a lot. And I have a critic to make: 75% of the tutorial sites of PSP out there have tuts on halloween, christmas and that (pardon me) silly things. It's very hard, although possible with some effort, to find a tutorial that deal with kickass effects like the ones in PS.

But of course I may be talking nonsense here, and if any of you know, please tell me where I can find some tuts on it.
(as in Malephika's site I found some quite nice.)

I mean I know its hard to find tutorials on specific stuff with those type of effects that ps has-thats exacally why I posted here hoping someone would know how to do it-or if not achievable get a similar effect in psp.
because its near impossible to trawl through every tutorial on the www-I've already read and re-read hundreds
I just figured there were alot of experienced people here and someone might know-or at least know where to start.

I hope someone can help.......

Hmm, I'm guilty on those "silly things" tuts but now I'm also writing many tuts on effects I just don't know when they are all going to be ready...

Anyway, Kimberley, if you don't mind following a tutorial for version 7 I can come up with something for you, I just need some time (I have so many works to finish for college this weekend!).
