FTP server software?

what do you guys recommend?
the only one ive ever used is Serv-U FTP
is there anything better out there?

yeah I was actually gonna suggest Serv-U-FTP as many ppl I know use it and say it is very good.

the best in my opinion is war-ftpd
it's 100% free and very easy to setup, configure and works perfectly...i've never had a problem with it and have been using it for about 4 years.

Personally I like, and only use, BPFTP (former G6).

Proftp is very stable and (relatively) easy to configure

You should try SmartFTP it is free in most places and is ez to use. Most people I know use it.

In my opinion... the best FTP program is Filezilla...

Filezilla has both a client and a server version. And they're both free! Not to mention having close to all of the features that are provided in pay software...

Its talking about FTP Server Programs....
