3 Planets

Here's what I've got so far. Constructive criticism greatly appreciated! Grin 3 Planets

Wheres the main light source? on the bottom planet its on the top right, but on the top planet and middle planet its on the top right as well, the lighting doesnt make sense.

I dont believe that planets can be that close together... or is it the light source that makes it look EXTREMELY out of perspective.

I think it looks good. Adobe does make a good point, though.

Yeah... I need to work on the lighting. And I think the way I have it now makes it look way out of perspective... because what I was going for was the green and purple planets 'rotating' around the brown planet.

hmm i think it would look better if the stars around the green planet were a bit more dull. They are too bright that they make the planet look 2D.
And yeah i dont think the stars in deep space are that bright.

*a meteor field around the brown planet would be cool Wink

Okay, I tried making the lighting more consistant. Try #2

actually, i really dont think anyone can know for sure how the lighting is in space, espically if the picture is just an imaginary terrain somewhere in 'deep space'. ... unless you have a degree in astrophysics or somewhat.

i think u should stick to more luminosity and eccentric highlighting in the future,
good pic anyway

you dont get it. you have 3 light sources RIGHT BESIDE eachother, thats not possible. like u have 2 light bulbs in a room there will be 2 rays, but here its like u but 3 right beside eachother and it makes individual rays for each. makes no sense.

yeah adobe has a good point that would make your graphic look alot nicer. Same applies with any drawing you'd make like a room or anything, to get the right depth :-)

but as far as setting a focus point in photoshop, i've scene some people with tricks and lines making it very easy, but i'm not sure the best way to go about doing that
