Stone and engraved text

Hi,

I am trying to get an affect sorta like the splash on pixelranger.com .

Here is a pic of what im trying to make look like the outside border just a different color of course.

If anyone can please help me get this affect or perhaps point me in the right direction. Also I would like to try to make the font look engraved into the site.

EDIT: Now I think I see what your talking about, you want the effect on pixel ranger to work on the picture you linked? If thats the case just download some grunge brushes... Set your foreground to a real dark blue that matches the color scheme of your picture then tap it with a grunge brush, set the blend mode to soft light for that layer, then duplicate that layer and go to image>Adjustments>Invert or Ctrl+I and hit your down key once and your right key one (one pixel down, one pixel right) and it should get you something similar.
