Make Things Shine?

how do you add a shine to things?

add spots of brigther shades of the color and think about where they whould be with the light....make the edges sharp to make it look like glass or clear mettal and to make it look alitle roughter just blurr it abit

hey thanks ill give it a try

try creating a layer on top of what you want shiny, then use a brush over it, blur the layer and set the layer to soft light. you may want to play with the opacity or choose a layer set like screen or lighten also.

Highlight brush / Airbrush , and mess with colors.
