Need help with PHP 4.3.3 and installing GD

So supposedly, php 4.3.3 is supposed to have GD functionality fully integrated and built in. I'm running a W2K pro server box at home with default apache and PHP. I've already un-commented the php_gd2.dll line in php.ini-dist and php.ini-recommended

I know you're supposed to do it in just php.ini, but that file doesn't seem to exist!

php_info() and gd_info() act as if GD is not in there whatsoever. Any suggestions?

I am such a n00b lol! Seems that I never stuck the php.ini into the winnt folder, so I took the php.ini-dist, copied it, renamed it, and slapped it in there. Doh!!!!!

yes that could pose a problem lol

Make sure the extension folder is correct in php.ini too.
