What do you mean by "upload my own graphic box for MySql database" I dont understand. Also, it's kind of handy when you are learning PHP/MySQL to install it on the computer you do your coding from. Then you can just tweak the code, save the file, and refresh the browser, skipping the uploading step that can get bothersome.

okay dude, i think what you're looking for is a template system (or CMS), where the layout stays the same while you just change the content, as Ares showed before

from what you're saying, i assume you're pretty new and thats fine, we were all new once (cept me i am t3h 1337z0r Wink)

i think you should start out with a premade CMS system, such as PHP-Nuke. Its a website already made for you and you should use this while you take the time to learn HTML

happy coding

saving it as .php wont do anything, php is a seperate language used to make scripts such as hit counters, polls, data management

Okay:

Example:

I make a simple Header in Photoshop. (one page)
I name this page index.php (i've decided to add several other graphics on it but keep the center blank so that I can use that space to upload and update news with the same template.

example: http://www.treefingers.com/news/index.php

you see it??? is there a simple code that I can just use for that without learning PHP. I just want to be able to do this and I am pretty much set.

Unless otherwise, you have something else to add.

Okay, I don't want codes I just a simple Yes or No answer.

All the templates and graphics for the mainpage of that website I have listed above. Can I just normally go in and do what I normally do on Dreamweaver and then save it as a PHP file?

2nd:

Is there a specific code that just targets the center box template where the news update will be written into????

I just want a general idea of how this works, I don't want anyone to give me a list of CODES. I didn't ask for any codes.
