webpage doesn't show

When I was at my old hosting company, it was simple to just upload and edit and update without a hassle but now with this new hosting company I'm am having trouble doing that

look at this page www.citizeninsane.com how do I get rid of this and have it start up with my index.html instead

i know it sounds dumb.

well you need to upload your index page, at the moment there is no index page so your basically just viewing your home directory on the server

Exactly what vogonpoet said. It's not showing index.html because there is no index.html...

what permission do you I need to put it to?

because I can't seem to get rid of this annoying old page that I am trying to update. At first I couldn't write to it and then I adjusted the permission thing and now everytime I edit my page it won't update

also check to see if your browser is caching the page and not showing the latest version of your index page, you might want to change your browsers caching pref or delete your cache, thus forcing a fresh load....
