America is densely populated, the deaths keep the balance, and boost the economy. ___________________ I didnt even have a sig?How can it be violated?Go find someone else to harass. Re: This is getting stupid
Smoking marijuana, does not "shrivel up your balls". If you break it up properly and take the seeds out (yes, smoking the seeds will cause impotency), then your balls will not shrivel. As for legalization, I don't see any reason why not? As someone stated earlier, they just decriminalized in Canada on July 9th I think it was. Anyone caught with more than 5 grams (about 75USD) is slapped with a fine (over 500USD I think). You can't label marijuana or anything as a "gateway" drug IMO. ANY drug you try first (alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana, acid, cocaine ...) is YOUR gateway drug. The only reason marijuana is labeled such, is because it is the most readily available drug to countless people. I know people who have started drinking, then never used marijuana, then proceeded to use cocaine, meth and other drugs. Other people I know have huffed first. Someone said ealier that marijuana kills people. Where did you get that information from. Researchers have yet to find a definate link between marijuana and death. Just to back me up, an article posted on Health Central taken from the Bio-Medical Journal just 6 days ago I'm not saying it should completely legalized. It should be, but extremely regulated (like cigarettes and alcohol). Allow sales to go to adults that can decide what they want to do. They should adapt a sales style like the military has for alcohol (although it may take years to establish). The military regulates the sale of alcohol to the enlisted very well. When they go into the local PX or BX, they scan their ID card and it logs the purchase into the system. And they can't buy over a certain amount of alohol in a day/week. If this was adopted, every person with a driver's license has a magnetic strip on the back that many alcohol stores use now. They could impose the same system for the purchasing/use of marijuana. All that really needs to happen is change. What the government is doing now to try and curb the use of marijuana isn't working. If what you're trying doesn't work, try something else. IMO they should put their focus on manufactured drugs that do FAR more harm that marijuana (meth, cocaine, crack, acid ...). On a side note, why is it that the FDA requires food products to list all ingredients that are used to make the food, yet cigarettes don't have too? All they have to have is a Surgeon General's warning. IMO that makes cigarettes FAR more dangerous than marijuana. If you know who you are getting your marijuana from, you should know what's in it. Everyone that buys cigarettes knows EXACTLY where they are getting it from, yet they have little or no clue about exactly what is in it. I also notice that nobody noticed caffeine as a drug. That is probably the most addictive drug out there, and it isn't regulated at all. There have been documented cases of caffeince withdrawls. That's what prescription drugs such as Celexa can be used for. I know several people, that after stopping the use of caffeine (whether it be coffee, soda, chocolate ...) they dip into a depression. I may be wrong, but most people that smoke marijuana are usually in a depressive type state while under the influence. The THC in marijuana will leave you system within 4-6 days after smoking, while the nicotine and tar from cigarettes will stay in your system for years to come. Smoking cigarettes constricts and clogs arteries and makes it hard to participate in strenuous activites. I have yet been unable to fully participate in any strenuous activity because of smoking a bowl or two. I am not arguing this just because I smoke every now and then. There are pros and cons to everything, just do your research before you try to argue a side to something. My philosophy: Natural is ok, manufactured is bad. Just my two cents. Theres no way it should be legalized. There's already enough idiots in the world. The US school system is already utter **** and we dont need it to get worse by legalizing somthing that makes people STUPID. I see it all the time at my school stoners who think they dont need an education to live. All they need is mommy and daddy to give them money, buy them cars, and feed them. If this continues the US is going to be completely filled with dumbass stoners who dont care anymore. Look at what they have already done now. The US is a joke to other nations because of thse idiots seting a stereotype that everyone is stupid. And if it were up to me ciggaretes would be illegal.
Isn't this a bit hypocritical? In your whole post you're calling all stoners dumb, stupid and lazy. So are you an idiot for stereotyping? The valedictorian for my class smoked on weekends constantly, and she graduated at the top of the class with a 4.5GPA, got accepted to Colorado State and is currently attending a semester of college in Japan (where school is much harder). I talk to her every now and then and she complains because she can rarely find any marijuana there. I also have a friend that graduated high school with me, he smoked every weekend. He got accepted to Duke, Johns Hopkins, UCSD and Berkley. He's going to Johns Hopkins right now, and currently enrolled in the second hardest math course in the nation, and he's doing well, AND he still smokes regularly. He's been going there since the fall of 2001, and he's only 19 now. Are these people dumb and stupid? By no means, NO. They are very smart. I was lazy long before I ever started smoking marijuana. I never became less active than I was before I started smoking. So there can't be a direct correlation to stoners and lazyness. There can however, be a correlation to being under the influence of marijuana and lazyness. But since you worded it "lazy stoners" are you trying to correlate lazyness with stoners? So then can I say that all lazy people are stoners? Can I say that IF you sit around on a Saturday and do nothing, or sit around Monday night and just watch football, that you are a stoner? No. Because there is no direct correlation for being lazy and being a stoner. Please support your arguement with real situations and facts. Every stoner I've known or met have been careless and lazy. ___________________ Nick JTLStatus: Offline!
No i didnt say that EVERY stoner is stupid i'm just saying that from my personal experience and the stereotypes of othercounrys a lot of stoners are stupid. I know plenty of them that have no future, all they think of is smoking and drinking. I'm just saying that a few stoners have been judged as everyone else in the US. I probably should have made that that a bit more clear, but I have seen too many kids stoned at school to think for a second that weed dosnt hurt, or its just a hobby. For some it is, but for a lot of others it ruins their life and it will only get worse if it is legalized. yknow, all your pointing out is that you think weed is bad yadda yadda yadda. How can you prove that if its legal itll be used more? Again, look at the other countries that have marijuana legalized. does use run rampid? not that I know of. Most of us arguing here to make it legal are arguing because the current method isn't working. Its just getting used mroe and more. so. why not try something different? >>>>Quote akdov<<<<< ___________________ :: pop :: Why the heck would you want to legalize something like this? I mean seriously. Weed is for people with no life what-so-ever. It slows down your brain. And these people who kill others and then claim that they cannot be held accountable because they were under the influence of things like this is bull. They are the ones who decided to smoke the crap in the first place. I believe that having it with a perscription is good but completely legal? Do you know how many people die because they got shot etc. from people who were under the influence? The fact is it is bad. ___________________ |
